My Mikrotik is using firmware 7.6, but I don’t see the adlist in the /ip/dns section.
I have tried to access it via terminal and it also says “bad command…”
Reading the manual https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/spaces/ROS/pages/37748767/DNS#DNS-Adlist doesn’t mention about any “activation” step.
So, how do I enable it?

You need to upgrade the RouterOS firmware to at least 7.16, if not ( as of writing ) 7.17.1.
It would be very helpful if MikroTik consistently documented the minimum RouterOS version required for each feature. While this information is sometimes included, it is often missing. Having it in all cases would make it much easier to understand compatibility.
