i wanna to notify my clients that they have to pay the new manth , i read in this link about advertise http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs/ros/3.0/aaa/hotspot.php
i made a new profile and i put the url http://www.mikrotik.com/ the interval 00:00:50 the time never , i put myself on this profile , loged out , and loged in , waited but nothing happened
i read again and find ( the word in blue )
advertise-interval (multiple choice: time; default: 30m,10m) - set of intervals between showing advertisement popups. After the list is done, the last value is used for all further advertisements
and my questions are
1- is my configration wrong ? or because i have popups block on my pc ?
after solving this problem
2- if i wanna to make a html page and upload it on mikrotik server files , what will i write in the url ?
First:::
What you can do is, You can create one Webpage, a Notice Page or an Information Page, Store some where in your Local Web Server.
Use proxy access list to deny everything and redirect the user to the Notice page.
Second:::
Enable your PopUP as the advertisement will be in Popup window.

i will bigen with the second , i think there is a solution for the advertise from hotspot profile and am trying , and waiting any body know any information

Hi. This is my first post and I am a total begginer to ROS.
I have succsessfully configured the hotspot but I have problems with the advertise function.
Nothing happens (no advertisement) unless I check “Transparent proxy”
at the user profile. Then at the adv interval I get a popup that says:
