This is the basic theory.

The settings are in “/ip hotspot user profile”.
I have read it before writing this post -
and still didn’t understand
I don’t understand what I need to do
I have try to put the name of the image in the AD url - and nothing
can you show me an example or something?
Thank ,
I don’t have an example here. I don’t use that, but I did try it a few years ago and it seemed to work ok. I never put it into a working router, just my test router.
I’ll give it a try if I get a chance today and let you know. Many ROS versions have gone under the bridge since then, so it may have changed.
O.K.
I will wait for it
I just need to show someone how it work
I just want to show him a simple thing
an image that is save on the router (let say file name=test.jpg) that will pop-up every interval

Good thing you mentioned that. I was using an HTML doc on my authentication server (Apache web server also). I will also try with the router only.
I got it to “work” if that is what you want to call it.
When you login to the hotspot, do you get a status pop-up page? Or does your web browser block that pop-up? On my desktop that does block pop-up windows, I get a quick “advertisement” page in the main browser window, but no ad. I checked with a laptop that does allow pop-ups, and it does the ad page ok in a pop-up window.
To me, that means it does not work. ![]()
When I connect to the network I get
“Additional information is reacquired” - and then open me the browser with my login page
