advise on proper hardware to buy - need to setup IPSEC

I will have 6 branches coming (IPSECing) in to either rb1100 or rb1200 each branch will have about between 3-8 user at each branch, there will be rdp and direct printer link from head office to branch.

  • so there will be about 6 ipsec tunnels working
  • the router will be doing pppoe\
  • the routes will all be doing dydns
  • the router will be transparently proxy
  • the routers will be using wireless
  • the router will be doing basic firewall rules
  • the branches will most probably use rb433/411

I am struggling to get my hangs on a rb1100ah (no stock).

Would it be ok to use a rb1200 or would you wait for a rb1100ah

  1. none of RB1000 series (1100 or 1200) have wireless interface.

  2. you said nothing about approximate bandwidth expected on IPSec tunnels and regular traffic.
