I am new to RouterOS.
I received two SXT Lite5, and upgraded them to 6.5.
I then connect to them using winbox (I have tried on windows-xp and on linux using wine) I have followed the instructions on www.ispsupplies.com/content/resources/Quick Mikrotik SXT Bridge.pdf to set up one of them as Server/AP and the other as Client/CPE both using PTP Bridge. I set everything up and put the units in place. Then I try to connect to them again from my laptop (using a direct connection from the laptop, firewall disabled) and both of them on either windows or linux and although I can see them when I press the “…” button if I try to connect I get a timeout (error 20561).
How do I proceed?
