After doing a config change to mangle rules, I rebooted and now the system is locked out. From the monitor and keyboard interface the system loads and then when you press enter to login nothing happens and the system just hangs.
Can you recall what change(s) you did to the mangle rules?
Don’t really know but it could only have been a small adjustment like a mangle rule.
Just did some more work and found it is definatly the config that caused the problem. I reinstalled the OS and reloaded the config and the same problem occured. I am pretty sure I just added a mangle rule for SSH in and out and because it was showing in the mangle stats but there was a problem with the queues so I rebooted and then the problem occured. I don’t think it will be possible to migrate the config over from a 2.8 system due to this and another problem with the ethernet cards allocation altering and duping which is a shame because entering 200 users bandwidth rules is a real mother!
