After upgrading hEX lite, my Ubuntu can't join the network

I have upgraded my hEX lite router (5-port wired router) from 6.x to latest stable 7.18 (I believe, or 7.19).

After the upgrade my Ubuntu can’t join to it, and keeps posting me this error:

activation of network connection failed

What’s causing this behavior? Note: Ubuntu machine is on wire, no wifi interface is involved.

I have disable and re-enabled VLANs, and also IP6 was disabled, I have enabled it, and all get back to normal.
