Has anyone gotten ubiquiti products to graph with the dude other than graphing from the port the ubnt plugs into? I’m rebuilding our dude server with version 6 and would love to graph these on the wireless link like I do with all other hardware.
Best I can tell the oid I want to use is this one, which looks close to real throughput, but if I forcefully choke the link down it doesnt drop at all.
Which MIB are you using? Maybe airfiber is different but I cant get this to work. I get the interface options of air, eth0, br, sit, lo, but non of them show more than a few k of traffic.
The airfiber is a very different animal. I believe Ubnt bought this from Motorola many years ago.
I have a few pairs attached to some Mikrotik routers. There is nothing in the MIB that shows the airfiber’s wireless link. Therefore I am stuck with showing the graph of the ethernet link between the airfiber and Mikroik router.
Well I’m glad its not just me then. It’s not a huge deal as I graph from the switch it plugs into, but it would make the maps look cleaner if I could someday graph from the wireless side like my other links. But I can live with it.
I was researching this further as I am about to install a UBNT airfibre 5 ghz. On their download website https://www.ubnt.com/download/airfiber/default/default/airfiber-af-24af-24hd-firmware-v40 If you click on the firmware you are running for your airfibre there is an option to download the MIB. you should be able to place this in your DUDE MIB folder and the info should start coming through.
