AirGiga router shutdown and freeze

Dear guys,
i have purchased AirGiga router with RouterOS Ver. 3.30 and I have imported on it a traffic shaping configuration (transparent mode) that I did on a Mikrotik RB493AH.
Now problem is that when I use new AirGiga router instead of RB493AH, AirGiga router after 1 or 2 minutes freezes and shuts down and it is impossible to turn on. To do that I have to disconnect power for 2/3 minutes and then reconnect it.

I have tried to upgrade routeros to versione 4.10, but problem is the same. I try do disable all firewall mangle rules but nothing.

Which is the problem? I think problem is AirGiga router because same configuration on RB493AH works fine.

I hope to receive some help

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Which RouterBOARD is inside the used system?
Is there null modem cable connection available, that you can check the output on the console, when router is shutting down by itself.

There is an x86 system

Regards

I do not know what kind of x86 device is used inside. You can ask the seller/manufacturer of Airgiga, where could be the problem (when RB493 works fine).

x86 system is an Intel 1600 MHz processsor with 2 Gbyte DDR RAM and four ethernet port that are registerd (with “R” in winbox interface) even if there aren’t connect to any device: why?

four ethernet port that are registerd (with “R” in winbox interface) even if there aren’t connect to any device: why?

Interface running status detection on x86 is turned off by default.

To enable run following command:
/interface ethernet [find] disable-running-check=no

OK! Thanks for ethernet registration, but shutdown problem persist. I connect monitor and keyboard to AirGiga router but when it freezes and shutdown I don’t see nothing in the monitor.

Please help me.

Thanks

you should ask the company who sold you this device why it freezes and shuts down

Hi mktwifi,

What about your air giga router?

Was it finally stop freezing? How did you solve it?

Do you recommends that hardware?

Thanks in advance.

You may try v5.x as it have a better multi CPU support including the intel ethernet chip support. Also try to play with multi-cpu:yes/no and see if it helps.

Also check if watchdog is enabled which may cause reboots.
