Hello everyone,
I’m experiencing similar problem to http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/cdn-overload/101705/1
Simply: I think Akamai CDN edge servers are running some modified TCP stack or congestion control algorithm. When one station on PTMP AP with NV2 starts to download Microsoft updates, some game update or whatever else from Akamai, that one station use all AP bandwidth, throttling connections for other stations and raising packets loss > 50%. Usually Akamai download is running 4-6 parallel streams. Of course, this only happen if some “queue or shaping” isn’t applied, letting bandwidth distribution on NV2 only.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
