Allow/Enable DLNA traffic

Hi guys,

I don’t much about the DLNA nor the protocols it uses yet, but since I have a new smart-tv connect to the network, DLNA support would be quiet handy.
I’m running on a RB493AH, with v5.21 installed.
Basicly, I want Eth6 (192.168.6.0/24) to allow DLNA to and from WLAN (192.168.9.0/24).
I have try’d to google on even search on this forum, but topics like PIM and IGMP-Proxy confuses me I think, and havn’t got any luck yet, to ind the solution. So how do I enable DLNA traffic on my Mikrotik??

hi.
the DLNA server running on 2869 port number.
you can add a rule in /ip firewall filter for drop or accept this service.or add mangle and create queue for it traffic’s.

Hello !!

im on the same situation, i thought it woud be as simple as im used to on pretty basic routers, but im not sure
if the capabilities on the mikrotik platforma expects you to setup everything.

I have the same situation ethernet and wlan interfaces, each one with a /24 net.

I have read, read, test test test test test ans retested every post about i was able to find and still no luck.
I have tried many combinations, bridged interfaces, bridged interfaces and pim or igmp-proxy, etc etc etc

My case is between a smartv and w7, and seems like the use 224.0.0.0/24 that i know is nor routable but
all the posts i have came on explain that with pim you can route multicast between interfaces and the explanations
seems to be simple to our scenario at least, but still not working (crying … XO .-) )

Please help us, pleasseee !!!

Thanks
