Allow free traffic on ETHx (running hotspot)

I’ve a RB1100 AHX2 with hotspot, working well

My configuration of ETH’s ports is:

ETH1 - internet incoming
ETH2 - network for AP
ETH3, 4, 5 - slave from ETH2 (and i’m using to connect AP’s too)

Everything is ok… running hotspot, openning splash portal to users login, etc..

I need to make another ports from my switch (like ETH6) to connect servers or maintenance desktop that I don’t want to open “splash portal” for devices connected on this “ETH6” port
I need to configure ETH interfaces to use free internet and access mkt configuration (without auth portal)

Hi,

For the maint port,

Just remove the master port so it isn’t a slave any more.

Then just assign a ip address to that port.

The same goes to the free internet port.

Assign a ip and set up a dh server for that port, because the hotspot is running on port 2 and all the slave interfaces, you will get no splash screen.
