Allow No Payment Needed Hotspot Signup

Hello,

I am new to the Hotspot configuration. I am trying to setup user signup without requuiring payment. I tried to set the credit to 0.00, but that does not work.

Is this possible?

You could use the “trial” option…

I know, but we want to capture username and other information. The free trial looks like it uses an anonymous account. Is this correct?

Is it possible to create a new html page that can create users in User Manager that can be uploaded to the hostpot directory?

The hotspot pages can be edited.

Download them from the router and edit them and then return them to the router (at the same folder location)

The UserManager “Access tikets” can be edited by going under the customer (I dont have a user manager open so I am going from memory.. ) and opening the HTML section (look for it and it will jump out at you)

Copy the HTML out to an editer, make the changes you want and past it back into the same screen you got it from..

KEEP BACKUPS of your work, as there are buttons that can QUICKLY undo your HTML editing… They revert the HTML for the hotspot to the original state (restore factory HTML) and I belive the UserManager hase the same…

I know I have access to those files, but I am wondering if I can create a new html signup page that I can use to substitute the user?signup= page? I looked but I didn’t see any examples of code. If I could see the coding for the user?signup page, which I don’t see on ftp, that would help

I need to have it when users can signup but no required to make a payment.

As far as I know, currently Signup requires Payment, it is not possible to use signup without it.

is this still not an option, to allow free internet after signup ? I guess we could always wall-garden a signup page on another website and thats what collects the info. So no way to use usermanager signup without payment still ?
