allowed-addresses format for users

I am trying to add addresses that can access the router in the System/Users submenu (I am using webfig mostly on hapac2).

A problem arrises when I enter the addresses of the machines that I will be using for accessing RouterOS. I put 192.168.88.40 which is a static IP and the router adds /32. When I try to change that to /24 it gives me “Invalid value in Allowed Addresses” error. It does allow me to list the whole 192.168.88.0/24 subnet though.

Also, I am not able to access the webfig through one of my machines from another wireless vlan even when I list the whole subnet as allowed address in the user submenu.

All answers and suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!

/32 means that its just that specific address. if you wanted to use the network use 192.168.88.0/24
Post the config to see what your configuration looks like for the other problem

Some people see the matrix,

I dont… so need to read…

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/routing-information-protocol-rip/13788-3.html

Thanks!
I thought /32 is for another subnet → 255.255.255.255
I’ll try it and report back.
Also I will add my configuration so we can resolve why I can’t access my router from the wireless vlan.

I think you might have typed a short and more helpful reply in the time it took you to find and copy the 3 links. Thanks anyways.
