I using freeradius ver 2.x , ubuntu environment
the ping from mikro to radius server is below 10ms !
I think is it TOO FAST to respond ??
on another adsl line , the 100ms is OK
anyone suggestions . thanks !
My suggest is: use only MikroTik devices.
Check again your configuration, is securely wrong.
been fast cannot be a problem. Check your config and monitor logs both on the router and the freeradius server!
“Radius Server not responding” is an indication that the Router is not getting a response from the radius server, it could either be that the request did not get to the server at all or the response from the server did not get back to the router.
When you monitor the log of the freeRadius server, what do you see when the router is showing “radius server not responding”?
restart radiusd on the ubuntu box with “radiusd -X” then watch the logs while the MikroTik sends a request. It will most likely show that your shared secret is not correct, if you have the MikroTik added to the client setup in FreeRADIUS at all.
the problem fixed , my old rtos is 5.x
after upgrade to the rtos 6.12 , everything is ok ,
even the max 300ms delay
but not tick the accounting backup option ,
this will be very problematic
