I have a CRS125 used in my residence. A few of you a few weeks ago may have assisted me in the set up.
It is a fairly basic setup; WAN port is setup as DHCP with about 75% of the other 23 ports setup and active on my LAN. I also have a separate POE switch plugged into one of the ports powering an access point and perhaps some cameras in the future.
My internet speed is a 300mbit/300mbit connection which i found upon initial setup my speedtests revealed that speed. Now that i have all the devices connected, i am finding when i perform a speedtest the router cpu utilization spikes to 100% which appears to be limiting my speed by about 50-60% of my internet connection’s max potential. Hooking the same PC to the router uplink cable reveals a speedtest result of 300mbit/300mbit so I know the restriction or bottleneck is within the router.
Am i expecting too much out of my new CRS125 or are there things i adjust to get more performance out of the unit? For starters, i disabled firewall rules ensuring that was not the issue - no change.
Any other advise or tips are welcome.
