Hi, does Mikrotik 2.9.x support and run well with AMD Athlon 64 processors? I am looking to upgrade our core router currently and I like the FSB speed of the Athlon 64’s, but am wondering how well it will really work. I tried to get into the supported systems page on Mikrotik to no avail. I realize 3.x supports a lot more processors, I just can’t put Beta software on our core router. The main thing I am looking for is the best performing system I can possibly get on 2.9.x. If you have recommendations on that, I would be more than happy to entertain those.
