Another R52H issue topic

The last month we had strange problem with R52H mini-PCI card.
All clients CPE will lose connection and signal strengths was gone from -67 to -87 ~ -90. and card TX CCQ down from 100% to 40%-50%.
First we think that is Omni antenna or pigtail damage, but we wrong.
After few day of analysis problem, i see, if mini-pci card is damaged, no irrelevant what antenna you select, antenna A or antenna B. or even no connected antenna at all.

I do some test at home, and show it for you. now it’s method to test mini-pci card for me.

I have RB-433 and two mini-pci card
One - ZCOM (GOOD)
Two - R52H (BAD, i bought a week ago)

Set antenna in A in all card, set TX Power to 10 dBm

Set antenna in B in all card, and see ZCOM use connected to B - see the different

ZCOM set antenna A to antenna B. see different

RouterBoard R52H set antenna A to antenna B, no different, why?

On base, when something happens with R52H

Dear Mikrotik Support, tell me please, is R52H problem, or my bad luck. I bought 5 R52H card a week ago, now i have only 1 card, and i thing not for long.
This card use in different places, no storm, no thunderstorm.

Perhaps a circuit diagram and PCB layout of the area around the Diversity switch might be useful to us all Normis…

Those with good eyesight and a steady hand might be able to link out the device with fine guage wire.

Asssuming the pcb is just double sided of course!

What is the manufacturers part number for that device,

Not so sure that I would feal comfortable probing around that area with a Multimeter with a 9volt battery inside it, regardless of how high impedance the meter is without knowing the manufacturers specs.

It’s just simple way how you can check diversity switch without expensive equipment like spectrum analizer or power meter. If you want replace it you can use any DPDT div. swich with same layout and according freq. range for example MASWSS0129

Regarding ESD protection R5H have inside it and provide up to 15kV ESD protection.
