Antenna Alignment

I have recently been using Motorola PTP 600 units as part of an external contract, what struck me was the simplicity of the antenna alignment via a variable pitch produced by the antenna’s cpu, i have always wondered if any of the Routerboard’s can in fact mimic this attribute?

I am aware that most Routerboards have a peizo speaker attached to them and if this could be adapted to show the signal strength of a preconfigured SSID or even once a scan has been established?

Search around. I believe there is a script that can accomplish this.
