Antenna hole adapter for mikrotik cases

Hi,
Does anyone know were I can find adapters to fill those big antenna holes (N type i think) in some Mikrotik cases (ex: RB493/RB333)?
I brought 2 small Swivel antennas, and I’m having trouble attaching them to the case.
Anyone knows were I can find them…?
Thanks,
TL

The cleanest solution is to use a N female mounted on the hole (you can use an N female bulkhead - U.fl pigtail inside the case) and an adapter in order to connect the antenna to the N connector. Pay attention to the proper SMA connector in case your antenna has a SMA because there are regular SMA and RP-SMA.

RF connector gender is not determined by the presence of a pin, but by the thread.

A female RF connector has the thread on the outer surface, while a male RF connector has the thread in the inside. So the male connector
“covers” the female.

A male connector (remember, thread in the inside) has also a pin, it’s a regular male. If it doesn’t have a pin it is a RP male.

Conversely, if a female connector has a socket instead of a pin, it is a RP female.

The most likely adapter you will need will be a female SMA to male N. If the antenna is the typical WiFi antenna, it will likely be a RP-SMA instead of SMA.

Although not cheap, companies such as WiMo can make custom pigtails with the connectors and coax you specify. The advantage of a custom made pigail is, you can choose the right length to avoid connector stress due to mechanical tension.

Original MikroTik cases I bought in the past came with these things:

Unfortunately my case didn’t :frowning:
But I think this is exactly what I need, as I have 2 antennas like this one: https://mikrotik.com/product/ACSWIM.
The site you mentioned is in the US, I tried to contact them with no success (their contact form is broken).
Anyone know any other place where I can get some?

It’s the first (and possibly only) site I found using Google that has them. I didn’t even expect that someone would sell these things. I assume it’s MikroTik-only thing that works with their antennas. From my experience, original cases always had them, but cases from other manufacturers didn’t.
