You have 2 models only for PCI. I think they are obsolete, only 133MB/s for PCI bus and 1000MB/s for the 4 port gigabit lan card…this is realy stupid. For the first model i understand that it was made a long time ago but for the second one…

Maybe I don’t want a 500$ LAN card but I sure want a 100$ Mikrotik LAN card!

Yep. Could get http://www.mikrotikrouter.com and then don’t have to worry about cards. But might be out of your price range if the 500 card is as well.

Good hardware is key to getting a high-quality MT.
