Any way to disable showing parents in device view

Since recent versions, when I look at the device view, it is impossible to sort by ip, by name, etc since everything is always sorted by parent. I can sort by name, ip, and so forth inside each parent, but often I just want to look at the list. It is like looking at a threaded view of the devices all the time.

Maybe this is just a new feature request unless I’m missing something.

Seems like it is so. If those would be RouterOS devices, you could go to the RouterOS device tab and sort there.

I will see if we can add a “threaded / flat” view selector there.

A number of them are RouterOS, but I don’t tell it so in the dude after having lots of problems the last time I did that.

Anyway, that would be great, thank you very much.

I decided I would give calling devices routeros in the settings again. OMG, the power in doing this is great!!! To look at all my access point registrations in one place is awesome and very useful. Not to mention seeing all the os versions and more.

I knew I liked the dude, but it is way better now.

Thanks everyone for the great work.

PS. I tried to use the upgrade button on the toolbar and it didn’t work, but right clicking and upgrading did.

this could be useful for that:
