Doesn’t have to be for the physical counters, but stop it appearing in the log files. This is a known issue between some cambium PTP products and MikroTik routers with neither one taking the blame. Every 30/60 seconds a FCS error happens, its extremely regular its not a physical line issue. It doesn’t seem to affect traffic at all with no lost packets
The problem is I do want to alert on FCS errors for when there genuinely is a physical fault so we can attend and fix it. But these FCS errors keep flooding the log file, this is a problem for alerting and its also a problem for spotting other events when looking over the log as it fills up and clears older events
I don’t want to filter out FCS errors entirely on the whole router, just on a particular interface
