Hi i would like to know how i can hide my wifi network from other people, example just show wifi network to my family devices, but if a guest come to my house and try to look wifi networks they wont see my wifi network and just show example the hotspot i already configured, its possible to make this?
If you tick in “Hide SSID” in your router config, the router does not include SSID the beacon frames, and does not reply to probe requests that have broadcast SSID.
So, you have to know your SSID on your own wifi network.
Type it in on your families devices, instead to scan them on your devices.
