I have some 24ghz wireless with 5ghz backup links. The 24ghz is problematic in rain and we’ve found a bonding interface or routed failover is just not good enough, the 24ghz can become flakey but not go down entirely, net result is extremely crap throughput that is awful for VoIP. I’d rather completely disable the link so traffic only utilizes the 5ghz until conditions drastically improve then go back to the 24ghz
Is there any way to read values from the 24ghz radios on a MikroTik? Then I can use a script to disable VLAN’s and periodically check until values are within acceptable levels before enabling them again
SNMP would work but i’m unable to find an SNMP-GET script function?
Alternatively if there’s some other way someone can think of?
