Any way to see connected client download/upload rates in WinBox?

This is something I’ve wanted to ask for a while. Just now I checked the PlayStore and noticed there are two Mikrotik apps: MikroTik Home and MikroTik Pro. I installed both to try and see the differenes. The “Pro” version is basically WinBox for Android. Then the “Home” version is a very different thing and yet it offers some functionality that I would have thought would be available in WinBox and yet isn’t, namely live download/upload rates. Am I missing something?

I might keep Mikrotik Home on my smartphone just for monitoring client download/upload rates. Overall, though, this app is very lacking:

  • The client list cannot be sorted, and the list order is random (at least it could have been sorted by IP).
  • Device names could at least have been taken from WinBox static DHCP comments. It’s a waste of time (especially on a touchscreen) having to painfully type those in again.

I do like the fact that icons can be assigned to clients, as this makes it easier to locate client, and I wish this was also implemented in WinBox. If at least fancy characters such as :automobile:, :telephone_receiver: or :desktop_computer: were supported, that would be a start, but they are not.

I would assume that this is displaying the information from ip firewall connections.
(but could easily be wrong)

Another option is the kid control which will apparently give statistics. Unfortunately I have not used it.

Also you can create (with a script), a bunch of simple queues, one per LAN IP address, and let them monitor the traffic.
(need to not have this traffic fasttracked)
In the simple queues menu, can sort by upload, download, etc.

Using tools graphing, you can capture and graph this queue traffic per LAN IP address.

Sadly, you can’t export the graph data numerically.
