Anyone ever had this happen...

I have been running my dsl on a RB493G for a few months now.

all of a sudden, two nights ago, throughput is erratic to almost nothing. I’ve reset the router and even upgraded the software but nothing seems to help.

I’ve tried different ports but the same thing happens, starts working normal and then within 5 minutes the speed drops off. Everything shows normal on the router and I have made no changes to the router.

The phone company came out and after 2 hours of testing, line testing, etc. we found it to be the router. I’m now running on a rb450 but I would like my rb493 back.

anyone ever have this issue?

It is hard to guess what part of configuration might cause described problem.
Now when different router is used, you may reset 493 router by
/system reset-configuration no-defaults=yes

Add simple configuration (IP addresses, gateway, masquerading) and put it back to original location.

Just wanted to give an update.
It didn’t work. I tried reconfiguring it on all the ports. Same thing. I can make a connection but thats it. Gotta check to see when I bought it, maybe I can rma it.

Correct, check with your supplier about board warranty.
