I got an R820 with 4x processor xeon E5-4650 , plan to replace R710 with 2x processor xeon X5690, how about stability and performance running routeros on dell R820?

Direct onto bare metal or are you planning on using it as a VM host? I would strongly advise using it as a VM host then running CHR as guest OS.

Direct onto bare metal ,which can also enable x64 and maximum memory , so I don’t need to worry about the stable of esxi when running CHR as guest OS,
