I have a Ubiquiti Edgeswitch 24 port and have one of the fiber ports connected to a fiber port on my MikroTik router. It is like it recognizes the connection however no traffic flow and the MikroTik action link is off.
Weird thing is that this same MikroTik worked great with the fiber port on my old Netgear switch. When I connect the fiber ports from the EdgeSwitch to the Netgear switch they both work great. So strange that the combo of the MikroTik and Edgeswitch wont work.
Glad to see you got it working. I have has non-stop issues with my EdgeSwitch’s and SFP. I can’t seem to get more than one port at a time to work with the MikroTik modules. Cisco modules seem to be even worse.
Yes. I have two different issues. First, I have two EdgeSwitch 48’s. The SFP+ ports are bonded and linked together. They work fine. On both of those switches, I can not get both SFP ports to work at the same time, when connected to a CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+.
Second issues is an EdgeSwitch 24. It will not activate both SFP’s at the same time.
Hmmmmm interesting. Have you posted over on the Ubiquiti forum about this? This will be problematic for me for an upcoming project if this is a widespread issue with the Edgeswitches.
Thank you for posting the solution. Turning off auto-negotiation also fixed a problem I was having establishing a link between a CCR1036-12G-4S & a CRS125-24G-1S-RM using Mikrotik S-85DLC05D modules.
