AP Bridge or WD Slave Confused?!

Ok first things Im not a beginner nor am I a master, somewhere around knows enough to be dangerous.

I currently have in production MikroTik 433AH with an Atheros AR5213 card connected to an Omni connecting a few, less than 10, customers with Internet and some with VoIP, called Gateway which is working great. I am expanding my network and have since duplicated my Gateway setup on another site identically, called Repeater.

Here is the current basic config for the Gateway:
Ether1 connected to T-1
wds1 Interface
Bridge 1 is connected to ports ether1 and wlan1 and wds1
WLAN1 is currently in AP Bridge SSID MWTN

The config for the Repeater:
Ether1 connected to customers location for Internet
Bridge 1 is connected to ports wlan1, ether1, wds1
Wlan 1 is currently in Station Pseudobridge.
SSID MWTN
In this config the customer has access on ether1 and I can see/ping Gateway.

I was under the impression after reading a fewposts about this same config and that both stations need to be set in AP Bridge. Yet when I drop Repeater into AP Bridge I can then connect to the omni yet have no Internet access nor can I ping the gateway. The customer also loses Internet activity.

This leads me to my question. Am I going at this the wrong way? Should I drop the wds and just run straight PtP? I dont want to because I will be setting up more repeaters and configuring each board the exact same and wds seems so simple elegant. Either way I need to have the Repeater Omni broadcast my signal to hosts farther out from the Gateway.

Looking to be enlightened.
