"AP client" transparent for pppoe

Hi. Has anyone anu suggestions how to connect wirelessly wired router to RB532+RoterOS using PPPOE? Is it possible only with D-link AP`s ? ! ?
:question:

I think we need a little more information but if what you want to do is:

PPPoE A/C ===Wire===AP----Wireless----APClient===wire==MT

Then yes it is possible, you maybe limited to just one PPPoE tunnel through the APC though.

I think he may mean a wireless router which has a built-in PPPoE client which connects on the wireless interface. Most of the wireless routers on the market don’t support a PPPoE connection on the wireless, only on the WAN/Ethernet port. D-Link make a particular model that does it, and I’m sure you could also do it using Mikrotik clients.

My configuration is:
(pppoe-serwer on “MT”)----wireless----APclient==Router

  1. “MT” = RB532 + RouterOS-9.4
  2. Roter = Dlink DI-604, mostly

It works if APc. works in WDS, but it has limited use.
I found only one APc. (JAHT WP-2001B fw. 2.59) that in client mode is transparent for pppoe when is connected straight to PC.
:exclamation: Had anyone seen fw. 2.59 for singe ethernet APs based on RTL8181 available for downlad. :exclamation:

Try some thing with PPPOE relay option a see this on OvisLink some other Realtek AP with APLite firmware I don’t know how it’s work not tested but see this option maybe help.
Or something beeter to you try LinkSys WRT54G/GS or Asus WL-500g with custom firmware posible to use ruter as AP client in client mode wireless replace internet port and all setting for internet port is wireless setting. Posible PPPOE client on wireless inteface and you need only one device one device AP client and ruter.
I don’t much experience with PPPOE and this device but other say this work.
