AP + Station on the same router board

I am trying to develop a product that will be use in an event settings.
For this I will need to deliver several generic “station” devices to a venue
where there may or may not be available wireless. To make the configuration
easier, I want to build a router board device that has two wireless interfaces
and a 3G interface.

So all the other station devices can be preconfigured to sign into a “well known”
AP, if wireless is available then only one “station” needs to be configured to the
host AP, and it it’s not the data will be routed over a 3G network..

I was thinking I could take a RB411UAHR a UH52 and a 3G USB modem.. to create
an AP for my station devices that will either bridge to the 3G modem or the host
AP though the 2nd wifi radio in Station mode.

The restrictions would be, if there was a Venue / Host AP, it would be generic
and I would not have control over it, same with the other station devices, they
would be generic off the shelf devices..

Is this possible, will two wifi radios work in the same router board. I have read
about there may be problems with two radios on the same frequency..

Can a single radio be a AP and Station at the same time ??

What is meant by a radio with two chains ??

Single radio will not support AP and STA at same time.

Yes two radio cards operating on same frequecy are affecting each other (sharing same medium), but if it will definietly work better then 3G network.
