AP VLAN Issue

Hi,

I have an AP that has two SSIDs.

The primary AP is bridged to ether 1 which is connected to managed switch. That managed switch’s PVID for the port is VLAN 1, and that seems to work fine.

The virtual AP is bridged to a VLAN 3 interface, which is tied to ether1.

I have no other configuration in the RB751U-2HnD.

The goal is to have two wireless networks on one AP, one that resides on VLAN1 and the other that resides on VLAN3.

The problem is that when clients connect to the virtual AP, only TX packets show up on the VLAN 3 interface. No Rx.

Try putting the VLAN on the bridge ether1 is in instead of directly on ether1.

cbrown,
