first of all - thank you!
I am a new owner of a hAP ac2 running ROS v6.45.9 [long-term] and I really do like the hardware and software so far.
What I want to do:
hAP ac2 is internet router with active WiFi and LAN cable connection to another switch #2. The WiFi SSID is sent, it is not hidden.
I want to set up an Apple Airport Extreme (6th Gen. WiFi AC draft) to extend the WiFi with both 2.4 and 5 GHz = Access Point.
The Airport Extreme can be connected using LAN cable to the switch #2.
Problem:
Airport Utility does not see the hAP ac2 WiFi in it’s setup. Therefore Airport always tries to create a WiFi network of its own.
Setting up the WiFi extension manually in Airport doesn’t seem work - Airport utility does return a yellow state error regarding WiFi.
Is there any option in ROS to broadcast the existing WiFi so that the Airport is aware of it?
