Wow…that is certainly strange. Is all devices Apple? In my case, all devices are Apple made (for the synergy)…my Mikrotik RB450G is my main router that subdivided into two networks…my personal and my guess. My personal network is control with an Apple Extreme in bridge mode…to which all Apple devices (laptop, desktop/server, and IOS) connected via a gigabit switch or WIFI. That way I take advantage of the Apple synergy of hardware and software.

Set muticast-helper to full on wlan interface, you need to do it via CLI or enable advanced options.
If you’ve tinkered, reset the interface to defaults using the reset first.
Thanks for the help. I need a bit more. I have separate wireless hardware connected to the switch that feeds into my MikroTik router. I have eero wireless. So, I’m not using the Mikrotik for wireless. Can you help me with your solution? Not sure how to make it work.

Doesn’t apply then, MikroTik isn’t screwing with your LAN traffic unless you configured it to do so.
Good luck with those Eeros, you could have rolled a nice set of Unifi APs for what those cost!
Exactly the same problem: when Apple TV connected directly to Ethernet port all traffic stops after utilizing it for 100% for about 10-30 seconds. Adding a switch between Apple TV and mikrotik helps. Not sure how to troubleshoot.
Found the solution! Removing the ethernet port from the switch (master port=none) and adding it directly to the bridge fixed the problem for me.
