Is there any harm in creating a “master backup” and then apply it to multiple routers? I have a client moving into six different locations, all with the exact same hardware (RB2011UAS-RM) - and aside from WAN IP addresses, the configuration is EXACTLY the same. This would make the deployment of each site much easier.

create export (routeros 6.x by default uses compact mode) edit out uncommon stuff and import that into the other routers.

Backup as it is restores a lot too much to be usable on other router.
