Are "system reset" cmd and hardware "Reset" button same?

I’m using routerBOARD 750G with routerOS 4.17. Is there any difference between “system reset” command and hardware reset button? Thanks.

Reset command has parameters like no-defaults=yes/no and run-after-reset. While reset button can also be used to initiate etherboot.

That’s nice, thank you. But what if I use “system reset” command without any parameter? I think this will be identical to press and hold Reset button.

Dear,

If you want to reset all configuration RB , please use from :
new terminal – > setup – > and type R and select y to reset all configuration rb and return to default .

If you want to boot the RB please use reset button coz the reset button just boot .

That’s nice, thank you. But what if I use “system reset” command without any parameter? I think this will be identical to press and hold Reset button.
