Are there books to learn more about ROS

Hi all,

I have a RB333 and completly new to the system here

Are there any books, which brings the system a bit closer, like CICO books?

I had a look on the Wiki and liked it a lot, but looking for a hard paper, i can take with me to study.

Bassicly, I’m looking for all commands with there function + examples

Wiki does it quite well but only shows command you specificly searched for. I would rather have it in one go, as if i dont know the command I wouldnt find it

How did you guys start knowing the ROS?

Thanks,
Chris

Books is NOT Available..Specialy for Mikrotik. But you can Printout the Reference Manual, BUT again :frowning: its very Hard to carry…

Greetings!

I see that some of the versions on the documentation page have a printable pdf version. Others must be printed one topic at a time. Be advised tho, that not all commands are listed in the docs. Isn’t that odd? You can find all of them in the command line by using a question mark at the folder or command. That displays all the commands/parameters for that function.

I understand a seminar/class is offered by MikroTik or their distributors. I just received an offer from Titan Wireless that there will be one near them soon.

I have been working with multi-user networked computers since 1973, so this all seems like normal to me.

You must to read the manual, and take a training. You can see what is the best for you at training.mikrotik.com

Dude!

Didn’t hurt my feelings. I earned these grey hairs!

However, if you think I am just another “old guy”, you should Google “Tim Dicus” and see how old I really am.
