hi, i recently switched providers (windstream) and was required to get my ip’s from Arin if i needed more than 5 
. week or so later i was approved for a /24. its been over a month trying to get WS to route my block to my router. finally got a date and time last week only to be told after 1.5 hrs that i needed my own AS number. Arin says if i had more than one provider which i dont they would provide one.
what is the proceedure for this to happen. need some advise on what needs to be done on windstreams end so i can tell my project manager and hopefully get this done. thanks. Eric
for the AS no, you need to ask Arin, they would issue you an AS no, which should not take that long. The provider might be able to give you a private AS no. that should not take time as well.
