Hi, I was working on another router in the same subnet, and I’ve lost another one..
Its compares (even if I delete it, very quickly) to the ARP table but missing the letter C (complete), what does it means?
I’m sure there is not a IP conflict, as I see from ARP.. no other router got its MAC address, so I don’t see reasons for it..
When I mac telnet its arp entry I got login request.. so router is alive, then password, but I can’t access.. it type “welcome back”. I suppose soething is wrong on the router, right? This is really strange.. latest OS 6 version already from some days
I have disabled the interface connected to that router (both of them, the one I was working and the one who doesn’t more connecting), I delete the ARP entry on the main router and again it appears with D letter, how it can appear if the router is disconnected?? Maybe the problem is on the main router?
From another router I ping that IP and I see an arp entry comparing without mac, on the main router there is a mac.. why?
I’ve just figured out that with MAC telnet any mac will return login and password, even if it’ s not existing

I really believed it worked like TCP and was the target host asking for them
