can i transfer my mikrotik license key to other PC, if my current router PC got broken?

Take the HDD and put in another PC, then it will work. Use only good quality hardware to avoid ā€œbrokenā€. If you need to install RouterOS on a new HDD, you will need a new license.

Hi guys

I tried finding my answer in the forums and license page, but Iā€™m not 100% sure.

I would like to transfer a Level6 license from a x86 router to a RB600 based router. Is there any way of doing or requesting this?

The L6 license is currently on a 4GB CF card, and my original idea was to use it on a RB532 and later RB600, but I didnā€™t know RBā€™s wonā€™t boot MT from CF anymore.

So my backup plan was to simply use a PC, but now it became rather crytical to have the L6 license on a RB600 and not a PC.

Iā€™m sorry, but you canā€™t transfer licenses from RB<->X86
