Have you tried to reboot the LTE modem alone when this happens, to see whether the modem or the router are guilty?
/system routerboard usb power-reset bus=X
try X from 0 to 5 until the /interface lte print stops showing the modem, I haven’t found a way to identify the bus in advance, and I don’t have an LHG R (trying on LtAP which has a different CPU than LHG R).
Also, if the LTE card is a Mikrotik one, what does /interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=no show?

yes, issues is LTE itself,power-reset bus=X–solving the issus
i didn’t put on my first post, my bad.

/interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=no show? – im not sure what this does, and from where can i get the current resoult optios are yes/no,

interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1
This check if you have latest firmware or not.

SiB

it is running
firmware-upgrade lte1
installed: MikroTik_CP_2.160.000_v013
latest: MikroTik_CP_2.160.000_v018

do i need to update?

Signal measurements, shown in screenshot, are weird. RSRP (signal strength) is pretry good at -77dBm while RSRQ (signal quality) is relatively bad at -11dB. As modem reset resolves the problem fir a while I’d say modem is misbehaving and modem FW upgrade is recomended thing to do IMHO.

Same opinion here. Are you at the site or 14000 km away? In any case, make sure that the RouterOS is at least 6.47 before upgrading the modem firmware. I’ve ended up with a bricked R11e-LTE6 after an upgrade with an older RouterOS.

interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=yes

Optus the OP has, you’d be lucky to get a signal sitting on top of a tower

that is fine, just i’m trying to find out why i need to disable; enable LTE to bring it back to normal

We too, but MikroTik not give us a ReleaseNote with KnowProblems and ChangeLog to check what was fix… it’s mistery for us too.
