i got LTE device plugged into my mt
im trying ti sent SMS which is unsuccessfully, any tips and tricks to solve this issue.
The error that i gething is “Modem unsupported”
First, what MikroTik RouterBoard and What LTE device.
Probably you have some usb modem … ?.
i go RB760iGS and yes it is LTE
then this is a general LTE USB device, like android… and feature is minimal.
You see the lte1 interface with a dhcp-client and it’s all. You can only to his website internal and try config him .
If you want manage any stuff you must do it inside that device.
People with Huawei create forums and alternative firmware who unlock that possibility like API, WWW, selecting bands and doing many stuff what vendor not do.
This means, you have that what that vendor give to you.
Last post was about E3372 & API4SMS http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/send-sms-messages-via-huawei-lte-modem-api-tested-with-e3372/143316/1 but E3372 must have firmware with API support.
