[Ask] Multicast in Mikrotik?

Dear All,

When i set up the multicast using this tutorial http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Multicast_detailed_example, I did not worked, then i try to use the bridge mode without using pim and it worked, but when i check it, the packet is sent by broadcast by the router. When sending packets to an IP multicast router, does the router sends it by broadcast?

Only when sends “query” (checking who is receiving what). Hosts then reply with membership report.

Did you try with “igmp-proxy”?
