RB1100 availability
The wait for RouterBOARD 1100 is finally over. This high power 1U rackmount device with 13 gigabit ports will ship to our distributors in second week of may. Contact your local MikroTik distributor for details.

I prefer to use an international forum for the latest information about the hardware, other than that I just tried to ask colleagues here.

Thank you for reply to my question. Maybe there are friends here that give more detailed information?

What do you want to know? Specs? It’s in the brochure:

Ye , RB1100 without SFP ,
Damn again have to use ethernet cables .

did you see the price? it’s very affordable. SFP would make it crazy expensive.

yes i saw price.
i willing to pay it with sfp , i need sfp port on Routerboards with high cpu power.
make with sfp and without sfp . and rb 800 also.

we will make a high-end router with SFP in the future, but right now we don’t have anything like that.

what will be IPSec(3DES) performance on the RB1100?

have RB1100 VPN acceleration chip?

Sorry, this model doesn’t have acceleration built in, tha’ts why it’s much more affordable. We are working on other high end units that could have it.

AND what will be IPSec(3DES) performance on the RB1100?

When will be appear new model with vpn acceleration chip?

Yes, we are making new products with Ipsec accelerator CPUs, it’s possible we will introduce them soon.

RouterBOARD 1100
The top of the line core router
The heart of this device is a new state of the art
PowerPC networking processor which places this
device right on top of our product line.
It has thirteen individual gigabit ethernet ports,
two 5-port switch groups, and includes ethernet
bypass capability.
RB1100 also has a SODIMM RAM slot for
upgradable memory, two microSD card slots, a
beeper and a serial port.
The RB1100 comes in a 1U aluminium rackmount
case.
Power is now more affordable than ever.

AS far as i notice RB1100 have the same processor as RB800 (correct me if I’m wrong) so the performance should be ~the same
and results of RB800 performance can be found here:

It would have been a much better idea to keep the 1000 model also in production until the higher end replacement would have been available. It should have been called 8XX or something similar to that as it is not really any better than the 1000 model and it is definitely not the top of the line core router according to specs.
