I have a software suite to be used with MT Hotspots, which allow you simple on-the-fly modification of the pages passing thru. This can be used to inject your own Ads, for instance, to advertise “The Special of the Day” in case of a hotspot in a bar, or the “Pizza of the Day”, for example. Whether to set up banners or Layered Ads is up to you.
In case of a public hotspot, free of charge, you can generate some revenue running Ads for the sponsors of this hotspot, so you are not only bound to a landing page.
