Assign MikroTik interface to multicast IGMP group

Hi,

I try to do some multicast tests on MikroTik routers. If on Cisco routers, I can configure “ip igmp join-group 239.1.1.1” under required interface to test multicast by “ping 239.1.1.1”…interfaces joined in 239.1.1.1 group will reply.

However, I cannot find equivalent command on MikroTik routers. Please can anyone help advise whether MikroTik has such capability? if yes, what’s the command to achieve…thanks

It appears that MikroTik is short of this function. I will use python scripts or iperf to generate and receive multicast traffic. I also noticed spelling error in RouterOS…so disappointed and unfortunately we bought a lot MikroTiks :frowning:
