Assign public IP strange thing

Hi, I have a PPPoE server and my clients register to their PPPoE connection, in remote address I put the public IP but they can´t out to internet.

I can ping from public IP to the PPPoE server to the public IP of the client and viceversa but if I ping from outside of network to the client IP the packets losses.

Sometimes works the connections and sometimes don´t work. On the client router get the correct IP and DNS, gateway etc…

Trying and trying I found a thing that the connection “work” when it´s failing… the trick is assign the public IP of the client to the WAN port of the PPPoE server and delete it… then the client works fine… Someone knows who can be the trouble?

Please don`t use public IP unless routed
Always use free IP like 10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/16, 192.168.0.0/24
