assign static ip adress to customers

Hello, I’m new on this type of hardware and I would like to know how I can assign static ip addresses to my customers? I think I would need an ip range submitted by my internet provider and assign them to my customers. How could I do it?

Do you use DHCP? You can make static entries for mac addresses your users use … connect to your router via winbox, go to IP / DHCP Server / Leases tab / select an active lease and click “Make static” button.

.. other method would be to use pppoe with radius and have addresses assigned individually via user/pass. Check this link
