Assigning Static IP to VLAN's

I’m having trouble with a configuration change that I would like to make. My network is setup to have a specific VLAN for each of 7 independent AP’s. I would like to assign each of the 7 AP’s their own Static IP Address. Not really sure how to go about accomplishing this.

  1. Add the vlans to your interface pointing to the AP’s. Bridge - one and one, or how you want to transport the vlan to the AP’s.
  2. Add the vlan to the AP’s and add the static IP you want. If you want separate vlan’s, i assume you dont want the vlan bridged - so you need to setup in some kind of subnet for each AP. Add a ip in the subnet as gw for AP
  3. Add the GW ip to the Vlans connecting to your AP’s
  4. Setup route/nat or something to have the traffic redirected from the vlan’s subnet.
